CANCELLED: Congo Conflict-Free at Microsoft
Unfortunately, we have been forced to cancel the event previously scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00.
However, we will be working to bring you even bigger awareness and advocacy events in the coming weeks and months. Please check out the social media and websites of BFC (Facebook) and ConsciouslyExposed Cafe (Facebook) for the most up-to-date information and other ways to get involved. |
Original Event Description
Congolese and American organizations and leaders are working tirelessly to end the most deadly conflict since World War II, fueled by our demand for conflict minerals. Boston for Congo and ConsciouslyExposed Cafe are partnering with Microsoft to raise awareness of conflict-free technology from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Join us Saturday, September 5th from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Microsoft Store in the Prudential Center in downtown Boston to learn how you can support sustainable peace and development in central Africa. We will have letters to sign for your legislators, online engagement opportunities, and free food!
